3 Things You Need to Know About the FFFF

The Fast Forward Film Festival (FFFF) is already in it's 3rd year and it's growing. So, without further ado - here are 3 things you need to know about the FFFF:

1. What it's all about

"Embracing the short film format, Fast Forward challenges filmmakers to utilize the power of visual storytelling to convey the urgency of our environmental problems and inspire environmental awareness." (via About). This Fest is for the novice all the way to the professional and accepts films in a youth category (18 & under) as well as adult.

Film submissions are being accepted until Monday, February 27th. Check out the website for more details.

2. Inspiration Sessions

Two inspiration sessions are being held at the Rochester Brainery on Friday, February 3rd. These sessions seek to inspire those with ideas for films, filmmakers, and even those who are just passionate about environmental issues.

See clips from past films, meet filmmakers and get all of your questions answered - be inspired. There is a Youth Session as well as an Adult Session.

3. The Festival

Films selected by the Jury will be screened on March 31st and April 1st at both The Little Theatre and Dryden Theatre (tickets will go on sale in March). And, top three selected films in both youth and adult categories will receive awards at the annual Gala on April 1st.

Whether you're submitting a film or attending a screening - enjoy the Fast Forward Film Fest.
