Bill Kingston, founder of Crazy Dog T-Shirts, has an interesting story. From a college class project in 2004, to a fully functioning, creative t-shirt design company, Crazy Dog T-Shirts has come a long way in 10 years and continues to grow.
As an e-commerce class project in 2004 while at Ithaca College, Crazy Dog began in a dorm room. After selling a handful of tees for class, orders continued to roll in. Over the years he's moved the company from his dorm room, to home, to a small office, to a space in NOTA and now settling in a 20,000+ sq ft warehouse space on Humboldt with over 20 employees. Here's what to love:
Crazy Dog T-Shirts is right here in our city, using warehouse space that had been left vacant. And now on Humboldt, they have plenty of room to expand - there's no need to go anywhere else.
You've got Choices.
Whether you're looking for a serious shirt or something as quirky as your personality, you're sure to find just what you want.
Their vast inventory of screens is ready and waiting. If they've made a tee shirt once, they can easily make another.
One Word: Handmade
This is no push-a-button-and-walk-away production - this is a hands-on job. Only one color can be transferred onto a shirt at a time, so if the design involves multiple colors, creating the shirt has multiple steps.
And they have shirts for all occasions...
Apart from their vast selection of pre-designed tees that you can purchase at the click of a mouse, Crazy Dog also specializes in custom shirts. Need something for a sports team, family reunion, business, or just a personal one-of-a-kind tee? Yes, they can handle that too.
We keep talking about tees, but in reality they also do tanks, hoodies, maternity shirts and stuff for the little ones in your life. So - shop local, shop for yourself, friends, family, birthdays or just because. After all, who really needs a reason for a new tee?
