URBAN LIFE ||
This story begins with artists, becoming friends, becoming business partners. Owners, Ruth Hill and Lindsay Collier-Sears, opened Dichotomy Rochester on July 27th, 2013. This beautiful art gallery is a store on Park Ave near Oxford.
It all began with artists looking for a way to bring others - who are doing to same thing - together. A collective, if you will. A place for artists and makers to "sell their wares".
Someone needed to take the reigns, to lead the movement, so these ladies did. They held fundraisers, found a space, and opened a shop. They love being a part of the city, especially the Park Ave Neighborhood.
Inside you'll find jewelry, fine art, ceramics, cards, housewares, clothing, and so much more. There are pieces created by over 30 artists from the city and the greater Rochester area.
If you love unique treasures and supporting your city, check out Dichotomy Rochester.
What you find will always be changing as these artists bring in new creations.
Whether it's fine art or functional art, you'll find plenty here at Dichotomy Rochester! To read more about their mission and where the name comes from head over to their site: Dichotomy Mission.
