Taking breaks throughout the workday is important for productivity. Taking a lunch break is necessary to refuel. So why not take a break and be filled with the inspiration of music and talented musicians here in our city...? Do you work downtown or within the area? You'll want to take advantage of this:
Eastman at Washington Square - Lunchtime Concert Series
Did you know that every Thursday during the school year there are FREE concerts put on by the Eastman School of Music right in the heart of downtown? These concerts are held at the First Universalist Church on the corner of South Clinton and Court Street.
Admission is free and the concerts run from 12:15-12:45, giving you plenty of time to grab your lunch (brown bag lunches are welcome!), enjoy incredible music, and make it back to work.
Last Thursday we were able to hear the musical stylings of Bedlam. This duo was made up of Kayleen Sanchez (soprano) and Laudon Schuette on Lute. While listening, it was hard to believe that it was free!
Don't miss out on your last 4 chances for this year before Eastman is on break. See details below.
