With the holidays quickly approaching there is no reason not to start your shopping now. We are full supporters of shopping local and finding unique gifts. And even though summer garage sales are long gone, you still have one more chance to get your rummage sale fix in for the year at the Public Market this Sunday, October 19th. You'll also be narrowly missing what is being called Polar Vortex part II, coming to our city soon! On Sundays, spring through early fall, the Public Market is transformed from its normal year-round vendors, to people selling different types of wares.
If you're looking for food, you may only find a few vendors sprinkled throughout the market selling produce. But if you're looking for something different - you're in the right place. One man's junk is another man's treasure... right?
Besides your normal garage sale goods, this is a great place to look a little deeper and search a little longer for that something special. A few weeks ago we came across a little Rochester history.
How about a Rochester Transit Pass from 1942? Oh how times have changed - man we wish it was still $1 per week to ride!
Or what about a gift for that record collector in your life?
Maybe you're just in the fall mood for a great BIG pumpkin.... you'll find those too.
Whatever the reason for going, Sunday is your last change to enjoy Garage Sale Days at the Market. Don't miss it!
