The Holidays are soon to be upon us and we all know that there are many ways to enjoy (or stress out about!) the season. Most won't offer the amount of glitz, glamour, and ROC history that our treasured George Eastman House will. Here are 6 ways to take advantage of this incredible gem in our community and to get you in the holiday spirit.
1. Take in a Sunday Holiday Matinee
Every Sunday, now through the end of the year, the Dryden Theatre will feature holiday and family favorites at 2pm. From classics like Gone With the Wind and White Christmas, to newer family favorites like Babe and Monsters, Inc, there is sure to be something to fit everyone's tastes.

2. Wreaths Galore
Looking for something to adorn your front door this Holiday season? Why not bid on a festive wreath that was created and donated by a local florist or garden club? The Holiday Wreath Display and Auction is one of many annual traditions at the George Eastman House. All proceeds benefit George Eastman House programs.

3. Drool Over Some Gingerbread Houses
Miss the good ol' days of being a kid and building gingerbread houses? Why not relive these memories. In it's 19th year running, this tradition brings in dozens of Gingerbread house creations from professional bakers, families, and community groups. See something you like? These are also available to purchase through a silent auction.

4. Tabletop Trees - Get Inspired
Looking for some Christmas Tree decorating inspiration or maybe the perfect size tree for your furry friend? Displayed throughout the historic George Eastman House you'll find three-foot Christmas trees decorated by local businesses. These trees are available for purchase through a silent auction and all proceeds go toward providing fresh flowers in the house year-round. What's not to love?

5. Wanna Be Homecoming King or Queen this Christmas?
Ok, that's not at all what this is about... but that's no reason not to check out the Annual Holiday Homecoming Party! Meet Santa and enjoy some kid friendly activities while enjoying festive displays, live music, refreshments and more.

6. New Year's Eve Romance
Dinner and a movie, the classic romantic night is coming to the George Eastman House for New Year's Eve. For only $25 per person, you'll receive dinner, a beverage, dessert, and admission to screening of Strictly Ballroom. And the best part, with dinner seatings between 6 & 7 and the movie set to start at 8pm, you'll be out in plenty of time to continue the party elsewhere, or go home, put on some sweats, and watch the ball drop from the comfort of your own mansion.
