A HUGE shout-out and CONGRATULATIONS to Joe Bean Coffee Roasters (Kathy Turiano), Staach Inc (Seth Eshelman), Slow Road Consulting (Ben Woelk), the City of Rochester, and of course, the dedicated and passionate community of Rochester - all who have made possible the opening of Rochester's very first-ever parklet.
According to the official Press Release, "Located in front of Joe Bean at 1344 University Avenue, a several hundred foot defunct fire lane was transformed into public green space and built-in seating. Additional phases for the parklet are planned that will include more seating, and greenery as well as bicycle parking. This first parklet combined the collaborative efforts of Staach Design, Slow Road Consulting, CCH Landscaping, the City of Rochester, and Joe Bean Coffee Roasters."
