Main Street Holiday Window Displays Coming Back!

CGI-Window.jpg

Pinterest Once upon a time, Main Street Rochester was thriving...it was the place to be. Sibley's, McCurdy's, Woolworth's and many other prosperous businesses lined the streets. This time of year we can only imagine what the window displays looked like as people flocked to downtown to go shopping.

Ok, we may not have the hoards of shoppers just yet, but we're starting to see the Main Street Holiday Window displays come back, one by one.

Take a walk down Main Street now and you'll find beautiful displays at CGI Communications and Sibley's. Let's take a look...

CGI Communications

On the corner of Main & St. Paul you'll find CGI. This powerhouse in Rochester has created beautiful and festive displays these last few years and this year is now different. Let's take a closer look...

One of us here at the Rochesteriat (*cough* Stefanie) LOVES their Narnia inspired window... let's be honest, who doesn't love Mr. Tumnus?

We all know it's quite cold this time of year so head inside to enjoy the Christmas displays even more...

All of these decorations give us a little glimpse into Sibley's in it's heyday, what it must have looked like during this busy time of year.

Their decorations go beyond the main entrance, so take a walk and look around.

We know these aren't the only festive window displays in the city, but it's nice to see Main Street come alive like it used to. What are your favorite windows to enjoy this time of year? Peppermint? Thread? Hedonist Chocolate? You tell us!

Happy Holidays!
