Since we couldn't have said it better ourselves, Spokes & Ink Fest is "...a Monroe Ave mash-up of cycling enthusiasts, local artists, cold beer, live music, unique vendors, and stuff for the kids. So, whether you ride, want to get your hands on some killer original posters, or just want to crank up some summer fun, this festival’s for you!" (via. the event website).

On June 7th, Spokes & Ink will be celebrating 4 years running and this year it looks to be another GREAT event! Not sure what you'll find? We'll give you a sneak peek... Put on by the Genesee Center for the Arts & Education, you'll get to step inside this incredible educational establishment and see what it's all about. Get a taste of letterpress art and make your own postcard:
A new hands on activity this year will be clay pendant making!
Listen to the musical stylings of Hieronymus Bogs (pictured below), The Pickpockets, and The Fevertones (more information on the bands here).
View and PURCHASE awesome cycling theme posters created by local graphic artists, letterpress artists, and photographers (examples below are from last year's event)...
And even watch a trick bike demonstration put on by Rochester Action Sports Park!
There may even be more surprises to be found. Last year we enjoyed watching this artwork come to life before our eyes:
This is not an event to miss. And, Show on Monroe will be happening during this time as well - 2 awesome events on June 7th.
