St. Patrick's Day 2012 was a memorable one for us, do you remember it? We shed our coats, hats, gloves and scarves and donned tees, some even wore shorts. Mid 60's and sunny in March felt like a dream. Will we have something like that again this year?
Just a week ago our odds for a pleasant St. Patrick's Day looked pretty grim. But things are looking up.
Over the last few days, not only has the weather been rising above freezing, we've watched East Ave & Main Street start to change in preparation for the parade. Too bad getting rid of winter wasn't just a matter of bottling it up and shipping it out...
We've seen teams out on the streets shoveling and taking away all that frozen white stuff.
And what remains is a road that is ready for spring... and a parade! Here's to hoping Friday's forecast of mid to upper 40's and sunny will roll over to Saturday as well.
