Dunkin' Donuts is Getting Cozy in the East End

Dunkin-Donuts.jpg

the Rochesteriat Ok, we've said it before - our city definitely has a love affair with coffee going. Without a doubt, we have some of the BEST cafe's throughout our region, right here in our own city. This past year, we've covered everything from Pour Coffee Parlor, Founders Café, events at Joe Bean Coffee Roasters, and even a new Dunkin' Donuts that opened near City Hall.

And now to add to this mix, the newest coffee shop to open is located on East Ave next to RoCo and across from Victoire, coming packaged in the familiar pink and orange colors of fresh brew - Dunkin' Donuts! This store opened its doors on Wednesday, December 17th, but don't think for a moment that this is just another shabby place that will blend in with the rest...the team running this location has gone out of their way to make this a special place for the city and the neighborhood on East Avenue.

the Rochesteriat

You may have seen the life-sized donut and coffee characters out on East Avenue this past week. Be prepared for more, because the official opening day hasn't even happened yet - time and date TBA.

the Rochesteriat

While at first glance this may seem like every other Dunkin' Donuts you've seen up and down the East Coast, just take a closer look to see some of the features of the East Ave location that sets it apart.

Most DD's tend to be smaller locations by design, funneling caffeine addicts in and out very quickly in order to produce a quick and efficient flow of customers. This place is noticeably larger, with seating for almost nearly 40 in the warm and cozy environment that entices patrons to stay a while and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.

Need to catch up on the latest BREAKING NEWS over a cup of coffee near a fireplace? They've got you covered...and not just one - multiple sets of TV's and fireplaces.

the Rochesteriat

Recognizing that the neighborhood is filled with students and the urban connectors, DD has designed its store to cater to these types. Lots of work ahead or a long study session planned? You won't lose charge here...

the Rochesteriat

... and yes, they have free WiFi.

You'll see attention to detail in the colors, even for the men's and women's room. And you'll notice that you're being called a "D" head at the same time!

They've got a great team here on East Ave so pop in for a visit morning or night. Here at the East Ave location they're open 24/7, pushing Rochester into a city that never sleeps.
