The snow is persistent here - very persistent. Why not head over on lunch or a coffee break to The Geisel Gallery at the Bausch & Lomb building's 2nd floor - it is free and open to the public, and dare we say, probably unknown to 99% of the Rochester population.
Currently, the Arena Art Group is holding an ongoing display called Arena Visions at the Gallery. There is a sizeable list of artists' works to see in the exhibition, along with a wide range of mediums.
The variety is what we found interesting...
...from the more modern and simple...
...to the more traditional and unique.
Arena Visions will be on display until March 26th. Do we think that the snow will be finished by then? One can only dream.
As you are making your way up to the Gallery (or when leaving), make sure to check out the miniature scaled model of Albert Paley's Genesee Passage sculpture (with full view of the real thing!) that marks the entrance to the Bausch & Lomb Building.
