Neighborhood of the Arts holds many treasures in our city, including Art Galleries that feature LOCAL artists. Recently two exhibits opened in the neighborhood that we want to make sure you know about. Taking in both exhibitions will show you the incredible talent and diversity in our city.

About the show: "'Sleeping Giants' is the latest body of work from Rochester native, Andrea Durfee. Meshing figures within landscapes, Andrea's paintings personify the tension between opposing emotions and inclinations. The work displayed for 'Sleeping Giants' represent our connection to our environment, our past, and each other" (via website).

Extras: Learn more about Andrea in a recent feature from WXXI Arts InFocus. She and her sister Ashley are also the founders and creatives behind Louelle Design Studio in the South Wedge!
